QY quaternary cellulose derivatives are water soluble. It is a polymeric quaternary ammonium salt of hydroxyethyl cellulose reacted with a trimethyl ammonium expoxide. It was be synthsized with proper melecular weight, make quaternary distribut uniform on cellulose chain, and acquire variety viscosity. It can be used in a wide variety of hair and skin applications.

 Substanitivit/No buid-up
This experiment can make use of the Lumicrease Dye Test. In this experiment, cationic deposition of conditioning polymers is assessed using wool swatehes and dying them after cationic polymer treatment with an anionic polyazo sulfonate dye. The dye is attracted to the anionic polymer.Wool is similar to human hair in adsorptive and charge properties.A Brightness meter was used to measure the degree of adscrption on each sample via intensity of the dye. The samples were tested for initial deposition(1 wash)and polymer build-up(10 wash). The experiment found the degree of bright is sample. So the QY polymer didn't build-up on the hair.
Good comb Performance
QY polymer can repair the damage hair,make the hair feel good and look health,and the polymer significantly reduces wet comb force in the rinse-off application.
Increased particle uptake
In formulation, be used with emulsified silicon oil.This can distribut emulsified silicon oil uniformly in the product.For it's substanitivity, QY polymers can make silicon oil uptake on hair when washing hair. This can Promote comb performance and increase hair lustre. So have the same fumction to ZPT.

The QY Polymer is water soluble.For optimal results.Prepare the Polymer solution as a separate phase, slowly sift the powder into water while stirring. Heat and moderate agitation will increase the solubility rate of the polymer. The polymer is not soluble in alcohol solution.
QY Polymers have varity viscosity,middle viscosity are best suited for shampoo. High viscosity suited for thicker pour out products .If the product required thicking. can use HEC, such as BH-60000.
Solution of QY polymer are subject to chemical hydrolysis at extreme PH Stability PH range is 4-8.
QY solution is easy to bacteriological growth and enzyme catalyzed degradation. Suggest use methyl P-hydroxybenzoate. Propyl p-hyclroxy benzoate, imidazolidinyl urea and JM-115.The presence of alcohol will also minimize bacteriological growth. |
